KeyStone CEO 360° is a best-practice CEO evaluation and assessment process involving the board, direct reports and essential stakeholders. Choices range from a CEO self-assessment to a full 360° evaluation. For optimal outcomes, we recommend involving your Chair, Directors, CEO and executive leadership in this full 360° CEO review.
The CEO Evaluation process typically runs for four weeks, but that timeline can be reduced to two if everyone involved is completely engaged, responsive and available. The CEO evaluation process must be of paramount importance to the management team.
An initial conversation acts as the basis for determining objectives and CEO evaluation criteria, and clarifies CEO performance goals.
Our customised surveys measure the skills, knowledge and abilities of the CEO. Our CEO assessment tools analyse a wide range of performance criteria including strategic planning, leadership, financial performance, management of operations, management development, succession planning, human resources, communications, brand and reputation management and interpersonal relations.
In the comprehensive 360° multi-participant form, participants are asked to anonymously and confidentially rate their CEO’s performance in each area.
We present our findings, highlight potential areas for performance improvement and personal development. We identify any differences between the views of the CEO and the other participants.
